Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Time for a Song (the "Service"), operated by Netlo Krzysztof Mrozowski, registered at ul. Skłodowskiej 4/6, 49-304 Brzeg, Poland, VAT number PL7471886886, REGON 543210866 ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Time for a Song creates a personalized, AI-generated song based on the details you provide (recipient, occasion, story, style and vocal preferences). You can generate the lyrics and a short preview sample for free. The full, studio-quality track and related extras are delivered after purchase.

Because each song is generated by AI, every version is unique and produced individually. Re-generating or editing lyrics after a song has been created may change its melody and arrangement.

Digital delivery & timing. Everything is delivered digitally — there is no physical shipment. After a successful payment your song is produced automatically and, in the standard flow, is ready within minutes to a few hours depending on the selected package and current load; the finished files and video may complete at slightly different times. You are notified by email and can access everything from your order page. If anything takes longer than expected, contact us at hello@timeforasong.com.

3. Payments — Merchant of Record

Our payments for purchases are handled by either Creem (creem.io) or Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com), each acting as our Merchant of Record (authorized reseller) for our products. The provider that applies to your purchase depends on the payment method you select at checkout. That provider is the contractual seller for the purchase: it charges payment, appears on your bank statement and receipt, collects and remits applicable taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax), and issues the invoice/receipt. Your use of the selected provider's checkout is also subject to the terms it presents at checkout.

Invoices and receipts are therefore issued by the Merchant of Record (Creem or Dodo Payments), not by us. We, Netlo Krzysztof Mrozowski, are the underlying service provider (supplier) that produces and delivers the song.

4. Pricing & packages

Prices are shown on the order page in your local currency and include any taxes calculated by our Merchant of Record (Creem or Dodo Payments) at checkout. We offer different packages (e.g. Basic, Optimal, Prestige) that differ in delivery time and extras. The price and package shown to you at checkout are the ones that apply to your order.

5. AI-generated content

Songs are produced using third-party AI tools. The vocals are generic, synthetic AI voices; we do not clone, impersonate or recreate the voice or likeness of any specific real person, and we do not produce deepfakes. You may not use the Service to request impersonation of a real individual's voice or likeness.

6. Your content and rights

You are responsible for the text, names, stories and any photos you submit. By submitting them you confirm that:

• you have the right to use that content;
• for any photos, you own the rights or have the author's permission, and you have the consent of every person shown (and, for minors, the consent of their parent or legal guardian) to display them on your song page;
• the content is not unlawful, infringing, hateful or offensive.

You grant us a limited licence to use this content solely to create and deliver your song and the extras you ordered.

7. Your licence to the song

Once your order is paid, you receive a personal licence to download and use the finished song for private, non-commercial purposes (such as a gift). Files are available for 365 days (one year) from generation, regardless of the package; we recommend downloading them to your own device.

Orders that are started but left unpaid (for example, abandoned after generating the free demo or during checkout) are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days of inactivity. This includes all related data: generated files and samples, uploaded photos and the details provided with the order. To keep your song, complete and pay for your order before that deadline.

What we do not transfer. The song is produced entirely with AI tools. Content generated by a model without a human creative contribution is not a work protected by copyright, so we do not assign any copyright to you and we cannot guarantee that copyright in the song exists at all. The licence is never exclusive.

Limits set by our providers. What you may actually do with the files — commercial use in particular — follows from the licence terms of the tools we use (above all the engine that generates the music and vocals), and those terms can change without our involvement. Your permission therefore extends only as far as the scope we ourselves hold. If you plan to go beyond ordinary playback and sharing on social media (for example distribution on streaming platforms, large-scale paid advertising, selling the recording, or registering it with a collecting society), contact us first and we will confirm whether the current terms allow it.

No exclusivity, and songs can resemble each other. We provide the same service to many customers with the same tools, so another customer’s song may end up similar in melody, style or wording. We do not guarantee that your song is unique and we are not liable for such similarity. You must not present the song as a work you own the copyright to, nor register it as your own with a collecting society or a content identification system (such as Content ID).

8. Refunds

We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee. Refunds and our money-back terms are described in our Refund Policy. Our Merchant of Record (Creem or Dodo Payments, whichever processed your payment) processes approved refunds back to your original payment method.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe anyone's rights, or to create content that is hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that impersonates a real person. We may decline or cancel orders that breach these Terms or our providers' policies.

10. Reaction videos

After your order is paid, you may voluntarily send us a video of the moment the song was given or heard (a "reaction video") through a personal link. Sending one is never required to place or receive an order.

• Licence. By uploading a reaction video and ticking the consents in the form, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence for 5 years from the upload date to store, copy, publish and display the video on our websites, on our social media profiles and in our advertising (including paid ads on platforms such as Meta, Google and TikTok), and to adapt it: trim, crop, reformat, combine it with other material and add captions, voice-over, music, graphics or text, without attribution. We may sub-license these rights to agencies and platforms that run our marketing, to the extent needed for that purpose. The licence is royalty-free except for the reward described below.
• Likeness. You consent to the use of your image and voice as recorded in the video to the same extent, and you confirm that every other person who appears or can be heard in it has given the same consent (for minors, the consent of a parent or legal guardian). On request you will provide those consents in writing. We will not use the video in a way that is demeaning or unrelated to the Service.
• Your content. You confirm you made the video or otherwise hold the rights to license it, and that it contains nothing unlawful, offensive or infringing (including third-party music other than your song).
• Our choice. We decide whether and how to use a video and may decline or remove it at any time. Publication does not entitle you to payment or to have the video kept online.
• Reward. Once a video is approved you receive a single-use 50% discount code for one future order, valid for 6 months and not redeemable for cash. The reward is for the approved upload itself and does not depend on what you say about us. Where we show reaction videos, we disclose that their authors received a discount code.
• Withdrawal. You may withdraw your consent and end the licence for the future at any time by emailing hello@timeforasong.com. Within 14 days we will remove the video from our sites and profiles, stop any ads that use it and not use it in new material. Withdrawal does not affect use made before we received it or copies already shared onward by third parties; your discount code remains valid.
• Storage. We keep the original file privately for the licence period or until withdrawal, then delete it, retaining only proof of consent and withdrawal. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data in the video is processed.

11. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.

13. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and disputes are subject to the competent courts in Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
